Hello everyone,
I'd like to get your thoughts on a suggestion recieved for a new value added service.

The service would essentially be a proprietary, in-depth security check of your system to asses the effectiveness of your firewalls and av/am software against unknown threats. It would not be the cursory software scan or check most often found on web sites.

There are many different protection products on the market but many people use multiple products at once to plug holes from programs that do not catch all types of threats or software and firewalls that are misconfigured by users. This is why the suggestion was made, as a way to test how comprehensive your protection is.

If you think this type of in-depth security check may be something you think would be a valued stand alone service for a fee for anyone, a reduced fee test for subscribers only, or any other thoughts then please respond in this thread.
