The Ultimate Stealth VPN Account

Postby Jared » Tue Aug 09, 2016 1:43 am

IAPS Labs are constantly working to create new and innovative products that our clients can use in their daily productivity. We will shortly be releasing yet another type of vpn that is so stealth, not even your local isp can identify or stop it and its so resilient that no router, either locally or upstream at the isp's end can stop it either.

Traditionally we connect to vpn services over our local area network, (the computers and devices found in our homes that are connected to the internet through our modem/router) and our internet service provider can see that its a vpn connection, but cannot necessarily see what data is passing through that connection. In some cases the isp is capable of breaking that vpn line open using deep packet inspection. However, IAPS has come up with a solution whereas not even the local isp can see you initiate a connection to a vpn server because we will first connect to another local area network and then from there we will use a dhcp ip address instead of a publicly routable ip address to dial into our vpn server. Thus, our local isp never sees us dial-in to the remote vpn server.

On the remote local area connection side, we look like a local network user (as opposed to the remote user that we really are) and thus we can use an internal ip address instead of a public one to reach our vpn server.

I will release more details regarding this project on Wednesday as we round off our internal testing. I do plan on releasing a limited number of public beta testing once we have confirmed that things are operating as they should be.

It can be applied to virtually any type of vpn connection.

I am still working on developments regarding this as in some isolated cases I'm investigating a potential slow-down in the vpn speed and need sufficient time to ensure that this can be resolved for far away remote countries.
